Find out who that is tonight on Simvivor…

Debbie: Hello and welcome to the 5th elimination of Simvivor 2011; tonight either Craig, Jonny, Sarah or Toni will be eliminated from the island for good, but of course, that power lays with you. What a funny 2 days it’s been; shortly after Kelsey left the islands merged, then Danielle was eliminated and since then, it’s been like one big holiday camp….

Debbie: ….NOT! We’ve had an immunity challenge, which of course, Simon won – then he put an alcohol ban on the island, which the contestants didn’t react too kindly too. We’ve also seen a new side to Sarah, she said that she felt Amanda was “too much” for her and that she didn’t watch the first series of Simvivor because she’s more of a Sim Brother girl. Which makes me wonder whether she strolled into the right studio or not (laughs).

Debbie: We’re going to be chatting to the islanders soon, but let’s see what happened on the alcohol free island yesterday…

As the sun sets over the Pearl Islands, the contestants begin talking about one of their fellow contestants…

Gemma: (sighs) I was going to suggest having a party tonight, but we’ve spent up.
Amanda: Bloody Simon’s fault…
James: Some alcohol would have been great tonight.

Jonah: We can still dance the hula…
Amanda: Jonah, the hula is dead, give it up…
Jonah: It’s not, you just can’t do it.
Amanda: Trust me, doing the hula dance would be more fun if I were drunk (laughs).

Amanda: I really think we should win a trip to the pub or something, everyone wants some booze.

Craig: What’s going on?
Jonny: They all want alcohol (laughs).
Craig: We could have used a piss-up tonight to be honest…

Craig: This is one of the main reasons why Danielle shouldn’t have gone – she would have made sure we got alcohol (laughs).

Gemma: Unless we make our own…
Amanda: By the time it’s done, we’ll have completed 7 challenges…in fact; we may not even be here (laughs).
Gemma: Me and my mates did it in high school once…
Amanda: (laughs) I can just imagine the teachers faces with all the drunk students in class.

Toni: If we’re that desperate for alcohol, why don’t we trade stuff in?
Jonah: Yeah, if you donate clothes you can get stuff in exchange…
Amanda: I know you want to see me naked Jonah, but you only have to ask…
Jonah: Okay then…strip…(laughs)
Toni: Think before you speak Jonah; she’s not joking…

Craig: Everyone’s debating about getting alcohol…
Simon: You’re kidding?
Craig: No, Amanda’s after giving her clothes…
Sarah: Oh my god, alcohol isn’t that important, what’s wrong with them?!
Simon: Exactly, they’ll be blaming me, but we all need to eat at the end of the day…

James: Why don’t we take this plant…
Rob: Yes, that’s a good idea…
Amanda: They won’t let us trade the plant, surely?

Toni: Well no one wants to trade anything, so we may as well trade other stuff…
Gemma: Right, James and Rob can carry the plant, we’ll go to the store…
Jonny: It’s not going to work, you can only trade something that belongs to us…

Amanda: That plant does belong to us, we’ve watered it…
Jonny: It belongs to the island, you need to trade something of your own…

Amanda: (sighs) Hula dance it is…

Shortly after, the contestants are gathered to find out the results of the elimination votes…

Captain Redbeard: Contestants; after voting yesterday, 4 contestants received the most elimination votes…
Gemma: Four?!
Sarah: I expected that to be honest…
James: We were all up last time…so four doesn’t seem that much any more…
Captain Redbeard: The Four contestants who received the most votes are…

Captain Redbeard: …Sarah, and….
Sarah: (gasps) Really?!
Simon: What’s that all about?
Sarah: Wow, I’m really shocked….

Captain Redbeard: …Craig, and…
Craig: Surprise, Surprise…
Gemma: This is so tense…
Jonah: I know, I have the shakes (laughs).

Captain Redbeard: …Jonny, and…
Jonny: Ah, okay…
Rob: Come on…

Captain Redbeard: …Toni.
Gemma: (gasps) What?!
Sarah: Oh come on….
Toni: No, it’s fine…

Amanda: Shocked Face...

Sarah: Have I upset someone?
Rob: Don’t start all that Sarah, four people are up…
Sarah: I’m just surprised; I thought I was friends with most of you…
Toni: I know who voted me, but I’m not bothered…
Sarah: Yeah, but I’ve not said anything proper to offend anyone…
Toni: Neither have I….
Jonny: Or me…

Craig: Good luck mate…
Jonny: You too, I think it’s going to be an interesting result…

Jonny: I’m not too fussed about being up, I find it exciting to be honest…

Simon: Don’t trust anyone, see…
Sarah: I don’t mind being up, but I just wish someone would tell me if they have a problem with me…
Simon: Let’s just enjoy now though, could be your last day…
Sarah: Yeah, you’re right Simon…

Sarah: I don’t have any beef with anyone, but it appears some have beef with me and aren’t saying things to me…

Shortly after the contestants begin chatting about Toni’s past…

Jonny: Do you mind me asking; is it true you were evacuated from Sierra Leone during the war?
Toni: No, I don’t mind; yeah it’s true…
Amanda: Oh gosh, I’m so sorry…
Toni: Oh don’t be silly, it was a long time ago now…
Jonny: How old was you?
Toni: I was 11 years old…
Rob: Jesus…
Toni: Yeah, it was really difficult…
Jonny: What was the most difficult part for you?
Toni: It wasn’t leaving home or anything, but it’s…when you’re being evacuated and you look around and all you can see are children…babies…alone, without parents…it cuts you up.
Rob: (gasps) Babies?

Toni: Yeah, toddlers and some were younger; but because people were so busy caring for their own families those babies were left in the hands of the soldiers evacuating us…
Amanda: Memories like that never leave you, I bet…
Toni: It was losing my friends that hurt me the most, I’d spent 11 years of my life there and I’d got myself some friends, not one of them made it…
Jonny: Where were you when the bombing started?
Toni: I was on my way home from school, I walked with my friends, we were more or less around the corner, next thing we heard gunshots, we turned and right in front of us were armed men, shooting everything they could see, parents and their kids…teachers too…
Rob: Oh my god…
Amanda: What did you do?
Toni: We just ran, we didn’t stick together, we just ran and ran, because we wanted to get home to our parents; it was the last time I ever saw them…

Jonny: Gosh…how did you get through it?
Toni: I was one of the lucky ones, I had my entire family with me; that’s why I’m so grateful for everything my parents have done, they kept our family together when most people would have crumbled…
Amanda: Sometimes it takes something so horrible to pull you together…
Toni: (cries) I just…I owe so much to my parents…I don’t know where I’d be without them…

Amanda: Oh darling, don’t cry…
Toni: (sobs) You see…people with their kids these days…most...they seriously don’t give a shit about them…if my parents had done that with me, I don’t think I would have made it…when your forced into a situation like this, it gives you time to reflect on things and, more so now, I know how amazing they were…
Amanda: Your parents are going to be so proud of you Toni…
Toni: (sobs) I feel proud to say that I’m their daughter, because they’re so amazing…

Rob: Toni’s story is just so…emotional, it’s enough to make anyone cry, I was very emotional after listening to her…

Toni: I owe so much to my family, I really do…

Jonah: Who do you think’s gonna win this show?
Simon: I think either Amanda or Gemma…
Gemma: Oh as if…
Sarah: I think James could be in with a chance as well…
James: I think Amanda will win, she’s hilarious.
Craig: It could be Rob, he’s funny too…
Sarah: Funny contestants don’t always win though; look at last year’s winner…
Gemma: (laughs) Kayley had her moments…

Sarah: If it were based on how funny someone was, Tania would have won, surely?
James: You can’t base the winning vote on past contestants though; it’s so different this year…
Simon: Yeah, that’s true, there’s no Kayley’s on the island this year….
Craig: Unfortunately (laughs)…
Jonah: I think Toni could win, she’s been on quite a journey…
Craig: A journey of different hairstyles maybe…
Sarah: (laughs)
James: I think everyone has a chance to be honest…

Simon: Not everyone, I’d rule out Jonny for a start…
Craig: Jonny’s cool….
Sarah: I find him really odd, I don’t know why…
Simon: He’s quiet really; I don’t know why he came on the show…
Gemma: He is funny when you talk to him though…
Craig: At first, he was so funny, he has gone quiet since though…

As night arrives, whilst some contestants go the bed, others decide to join Jonah on his hula dance…

Jonah: Release the pain…release the pain…

Amanda: Shake that booty, shake that booty…

Gemma: I’m working up a sweat here (laughs).
Toni: I know, my arms are killing…

Jonah: It is good exercise, remember, you’re giving the sea your problems…

Amanda: Take that Mr Sea….
Rob: Been single for years….take that Sea…

Gemma: I’m sure Amanda was throwing the Recession at the sea (laughs).

Toni: Be quiet (laughs), otherwise the sea won’t take them…

Craig: You not joining Jonah’s sea worshipping Simon? (laughs)
Simon: Are you taking the piss? (laughs)
Sarah: He is so crazy, it’s unbelievable…
Jonny: Is he for real though, I mean, I have to check if he’s joking or being serious sometimes…
Sarah: I think he struggles to make himself known, so this is how he gets recognized…
Craig: (laughs) You going to be a psychologist, Sarah?
Sarah: It’s all about being a teacher, knowing the kids body language…

Debbie: (gasps) It seems she’s after your job Mary…
Mary: (laughs) I’ll have to watch out…
Debbie: We’re joined by our psychologist, Mary Bradshaw…

Debbie: What an odd few days it’s been…
Mary: It has been pretty strange; the dynamics have changed a lot…
Debbie: You were right about Simon…
Mary: Ah yes, he’s returned to his normal self.
Debbie: So who’s stood out the most to you over the past 2 days?
Mary: I’d say Sarah’s been really fascinating, she’s becoming more outspoken by the day…
Debbie: Yeah, she said something about Amanda the other day and now she’s annoyed at being voted…
Mary: She believes she can ahead of herself in the game if she mentions she’s a teacher, she’s mentioned it several times…
Debbie: (gasps) She has too…
Mary: She seems to want Simon and Craig on her side, similar to Danielle….

Debbie: Do you think she’s the new Danielle then?
Mary: Not really, Danielle tried to use sexual power, Sarah’s trying to put herself on that higher level than them by reminding them she’s intelligent…
Debbie: So what’s the advantages to this then?
Mary: Well she may have two followers, but the disadvantages are that people are starting to see a different side to her, and if there’s one thing about the Simvivor contestants this year, they spot when someone’s changed straight away; I noticed with Jonny, he’s gone more fun with Gemma and the others and soon everyone’s onto him…
Debbie: I want to draw your attention to Gemma and James, now tell me…what’s their body language saying about them?
Mary: Well it’s obvious that one person has feelings for the other, but the other is trying desperately to hide it…
Debbie: So who’s that then?
Mary: James has made a move towards Gemma recently, in the bedroom during a conversation with Amanda he declared that Gemma was the most attractive; now, a guy who you’re sharing a bed with has just declared you attractive and you say nothing?
Debbie: Why is she doing that then?
Mary: I think she’s putting up a barrier so he can’t get beyond that, she may have been hurt in the past, Gemma’s pretty light hearted, she jokes about things; two nights ago when they had that conversation about who James fancied, he’s obviously talking about her, it’s not going to be Toni, Amanda or Sarah really…

Debbie: So what do you think will happen?
Mary: I think James will more or less openly tell her himself soon, but if she responds negatively he may pull away from her…
Debbie: Oh no, we don’t want that…
Mary: He’s living subtle signs, they’re subtle, but they must be obvious to Gemma because she spends a lot of time with him really…
Debbie: I hope they get together, they’re so cute…
Mary: I think their friendship is one of nicest ones we’ve seen on Simvivor so far.
Debbie: Well, thank you for your time Mary, you’ve been amazing as usual…

Debbie: So I’m about to head to the island to reveal who has been eliminated from the competition, but first let’s chat with our Series 1 winner; Kayley…

Debbie: …looking very sexy, I must say...
Kayley: Aww thank you Debbie, you do too…
Debbie: Do I know that outfit?
Kayley: Oh no...it's my own (laughs)
Debbie: (laughs) So what’s happening?
Kayley: Well there’s been mixed views on the forums lately; one main thing is that the debates have died down a bit, but they're still there (laughs).
Debbie: (laughs) They had to sometime…
Kayley: Everyone’s been saying how much they’re loving Amanda, James, Gemma and Rob…
Debbie: They’re a great group…
Kayley: Some people have been disappointed with Sarah slating Amanda…and…may I add, the cheeky bitch saying I was a boring winner; I mean, who does she think she is?!
Debbie: (laughs) No idea Kayley, I thought you were great…
Kayley: I mean, I thought she was nice, she was high on my rankings until then…

Debbie: Any comments about Simon’s behavior yesterday?
Kayley: Yeah actually, most have said that they were warming to him, but have gone off him again now (laughs).
Debbie: His relationship with the public has been up and down...
Kayley: I like him though, I think he's really interesting to watch.
Debbie: Any thoughts on romances?
Kayley: (laughs) Yes actually, some agree with me; they don't think James & Gemma will get it on, in fact one user called Alfie said he doesn't want romances at all (laughs).
Debbie: None at all?!
Kayley: That's what he said; some want Gemma to stay away from Craig, I personally agree with that.
Debbie: Who's out tonight then?
Kayley: Craig, 100% if you ask me. I don't mind him personally, but he's not very popular at the moment, I think all that Danielle stuff is sticking to him.
Debbie: Who do you want to win this year Kayley?
Kayley: Without a shadow of a doubt, it's got to be Amanda hasn't it? Entertaining throughout; totally herself and I just want to meet her now (laughs).
Debbie: (laughs) She's provided some great moments; well Kayley, I'm going to have to leave you until next time; speak soon.
Kayley: Thank you Debbie; see you soon.

Debbie: So the lines are now closed, shall we find out who’s been eliminated?

Debbie: Good morning contestants…
Simon: Hey Debbie…
Amanda: Go away, you always bring bad news…
Debbie: (laughs) I’m sorry, it’s my job…

Debbie: So Craig, Toni, Sarah and Jonny received the most elimination votes this week, the public have voted and I can reveal that the 5th contestant to be eliminated…is….

Craig: It’s gonna be me….

Sarah: (whispers) Sarah….Sarah….

Debbie: ...CRAIG!
Craig: I knew it…
Jonny: Aw I’m sorry mate…
Debbie: Craig please say your goodbyes…

Craig: Come on everyone, give me a hug…
Sarah: You’ll be cool honey, don’t let anything bother you….
Gemma: You’ll be seeing Danielle…
Craig: I know, she’s gonna kill me for being eliminated so soon after she left.

Amanda: Farewell husband, the divorce will be in the mail.
Craig: I’m gonna miss you so much Amanda…
Amanda: (laughs) You too Craig, you too, take care of yourself.

Debbie: So the remaining member of Danielle’s Crew is no longer, shall we take a look at the contestants reactions?

Sarah: I’m still here (laughs)
Simon: You may be liked, people may love you.

Gemma: I didn’t mind Craig, he was nice…
Toni: I think all that stuff from Danielle was hanging over his head though…
James: Yeah, he should never have teamed up with her in the first place….

Jonny: I’m just pleased I’m still here (laughs).
Jonah: I know he was your mate though, so you must feel a bit sad for him…
Jonny: Yeah course I do…but I’m still here…
Rob: (laughs) Staying positive is better Jonah, leave him alone.

Debbie: Now Craig, Danielle and Kelsey leave and you go straight after them, how do you feel?
Craig: I knew once those two left my time would come…
Debbie: I mean, I think since they’ve left we’ve seen a chilled out side to you…
Craig: Yeah, but it wasn’t as good when they left, in fact when we got separated it was disappointing…
Debbie: Danielle and Kelsey said the same; why do you think the public eliminated you?
Craig: Well I think obviously there was all that trouble between me, Danielle and Simon….
Debbie: Now, don’t kill me, but I think the reason why people eliminated you guys was because Danielle…was perceived, to be leading Simon a bit…
Craig: It wasn’t the case though, honestly, I was there; it wasn’t what was going on…
Debbie: When you get out and watch it back, you may see why it looked that way…
Craig: So why was I eliminated then?
Debbie: I think because you stuck up for her (laughs).

Craig: (laughs) Oh dear…
Debbie: But fifth elimination is still quite a long time, you’ve done well.
Craig: I’m proud of my time there, the entire experience has been amazing.
Debbie: What’s been a personal highlight for you?
Craig: Meeting Danielle, Kelsey and Jonny…
Debbie: Now I’ve got something to ask you, answer me truthfully; if Danielle was interested, would you consider going out with her?
Craig: If she was interested, then yeah, I do care about her a lot.
Debbie: Well she is, she thinks you’re really hot (laughs).
Craig: Well we’ll see then…
Debbie: So what’s been your lowest point?
Craig: I over reacted at certain things…
Debbie: Just a bit (laughs)

Craig: (laughs) I know, I’ve got a temper; my mum’s going to kill me…
Debbie: Your mum is super cool though, I was speaking to her earlier and she’s like the cool mum that everyone wants.
Craig: Yeah, she’s great.
Debbie: Who do you want to win?
Craig: Either Amanda or Sarah.
Debbie: You and Amanda provided me with some of the best moments of the series…
Craig: She’s hilarious, nothing fazes her, you can throw anything at her and she’ll get through it with her personality.
Debbie: She’s been a great contestant this year.
Craig: Yeah, she’s great…
Debbie: Well thank you so much Craig, you’ve been incredible to watch, thank you for taking part.
Craig: Thank you so much, it’s been great.

Debbie: So Craig is no more; there’s 9 contestants left; tune in tomorrow to see the contestants take part in the final challenge of the series, yes, the final challenge – who’s going to win immunity for the final time? I’ll see you guys on Wednesday for the 6th elimination of the series.
